It's Spring, so it must be time for baseball season. Logan is playing for the 9/10 year old Cardinals. Coach Bernie coached him in the Fall and drafted him this Spring, which Logan was thrilled about. Logan has moved up to a new league - kid pitch. He played kid pitch in the Fall, but this level of competition is of a higher calibur. The games have been alot of fun to watch so far as there are not as many walks, so the score is not out of control. The Cardinals are 2-0 and both have been good games.
Logan had a stand-up double in the last game. He smacked it clear past the right field track, into the grass. It was an awesome hit! I took him to a new batting cage last weekend, which happens to be owned by the coaches of one of the local high school varsity baseball teams. He got the benefit of a 30-minute coaching session as well as batting practice and it totally paid off.
